Duncan Regional Hospital in Oklahoma seeks an RN student to assist with patient care under RN supervision, including turning, moving, and monitoring vital signs. You will maintain room cleanliness, stock supplies, and help with procedures while documenting care in the EHR and ensuring patient confidentiality.
Candidates must be enrolled in an RN program in good standing, fluent in English, and able to adapt to urgent situations.
Education and/or Experience: Current enrollment in good standing in an RN program. Proof of satisfactory completion of competency check offs for the associated skills listed above.
Minimum Qualifications: Communication skills including fluency in oral and written English. Basic computer skills including the ability to send/receive email, navigate information technology associated with the position, and use Electronic Health Record information tools. Ability to remain flexible to quickly adapt to urgent situations. Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: American Heart Association BLS required; may have up to 30 days from date of hire or transfer to earn BLS. For positions requiring travel, a current valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance must be maintained.
