Job summary

Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital - Germantown, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Nurse Technician for full-time day shifts. You will support nursing staff with basic patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, clean patient environment.

Join a mission-driven team delivering high-quality rehabilitation care. The role requires CPR/BCLS certification and at least six months in acute or long-term care.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long‑term care facility preferred.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

At Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital - Germantown, 64-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

How You'll Contribute

The Nurse Technician provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.
