Maury Regional Health is seeking a dedicated Technician for the Progressive Care Unit at Maury Regional Medical Center - Columbia, TN. This full-time position supports nursing staff by performing clerical duties, assisting with daily living activities, and helping maintain a safe, patient-centered environment.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will process physician orders, file vital information in medical records, and participate in patient care activities during the 0645-1915

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year related experience preferred.

• Files vital information in patients' medical records.
• Assists in activities of daily living and basic nursing care under RN supervision.

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs clerical/secretarial duties, processes physicians orders and files vital information in patients medical records. Performs patient care activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Assigned responsibilities will vary based on the needs of the unit/patients throughout the assigned shift.
