Job summary

Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Nurse Technician for the Observation Unit at Yale Campus on nights (7pm–7am) with rotating weekends. The incumbent will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to support patient care and function across ADLs and unit duties.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of the Saint Francis Nurse Technician program or a CNA program, and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Saint Francis Hospital Nurse Technician Training or CNA program.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 0–6 months related health care experience considered.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and document patient data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assists with ADLs and basic nursing tasks per unit protocol.
• Observes patient condition and reports changes promptly to the nurse.
• Performs assigned routine procedures listed on unit skills checklist.
• Documents treatments, vital signs, inputs/outputs accurately and legibly.
• Supports unit goals and participates in training and in-service activities.
• Transports patients, supplies, and specimens as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment.
