Mercy Hospital Fort Smith offers nursing student opportunities as a Nurse Tech, under the supervision of an RN or LPN. You will assist in providing compassionate, individualized care and perform clinical procedures that directly impact patient outcomes while learning from experienced professionals.

Gain hands-on experience with flexible scheduling (full time, part time, and PRN), evening and night shift differentials, and career support including tuition reimbursement for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Completed Fundamentals of Nursing (transcripts and competency list required).
• BLS certification required within one month of hire.
• Physical ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking; ability to bend, kneel, twist and squat.
