Description:

At New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, nursing attendants are vital care providers at the bedside. They serve as key contacts for patients and families, bringing energy, hospitality, and comfort to the environment. As a Nurse Technician, you will perform select care duties under RN supervision, enhancing patient experience and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

This part-time position requires 5 shifts biweekly, including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Nursing Assistant or Nurse Technician

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, or relevant work experience
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician Program or Nursing Assistant Certificate, including EKG and Phlebotomy Certificates
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, move, and position patients of all weights with assistance, and perform dexterity tasks with normal sensory functions.

Additional Information:

All roles require on-site presence. Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
