CenterPoint Health - Versailles is hiring a Nurse Technician for the Med Surg unit. The position is full-time with night shifts, offering a 3 x 12-hour schedule per week. Under supervision of an RN, you will deliver basic patient care, assist with procedures, monitor vitals, and help maintain a safe, clean care environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certificate preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Handle with Care may be required within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assist in delivering optimal patient care.
• Provide basic patient care: bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.

How you'll contribute

A Nurse Technician who excels in this role:

• Under the supervision of an RN, assists in assuring optimal patient care.


• Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance


• Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff


• Assist nurses with procedures, including room setup and basic wound care under supervision


• Transport patients and maintain clean, stocked, and organized patient care areas


• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity while following infection control protocols
