HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in Ocala, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PRN) to join a collaborative nursing team. You will support Registered Nurses with hands-on care, assist with vital signs, mobility, and personal care while contributing to a safe, welcoming patient environment.

Your role includes non-medicated care, maintaining clean and stocked spaces, and supporting infection control. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to restore comfort and dignity for patients.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• No prior experience required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.
