Qualifications

• Enrolled in RN or LPN program with hands-on clinical coursework.
• May remain in role up to one year after graduation OR licensure as RN/LPN OR NCLEX failed two times or more.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Collects, records, and reports accurate patient information.
• Performs routine procedures competently, delivering basic care to patients as directed by RN.
• Provides service to patients and families with sensitivity and respect for their expectations, age, cultural and individual needs.
• Responds to call lights and completes other assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Complies with department service standards to enhance customer communication.
• Communicates effectively with health care team to promote effective team functioning and patient experience.
