Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an entry-level Nurse Technician at El Paso Children’s Hospital in El Paso, TX. This PRN, rotating shift role supports RN staff with basic patient care under direct supervision.

Applicants should be enrolled in a nursing program or have completed foundational nursing coursework with NCLEX readiness. BLS is required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to assist diverse patients.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Work Experience

• Hospital setting preferred.

License/Registration/Certification

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

Education and Training

• First year of a two-year nursing program (including Medical/Surgical rotation) and currently enrolled in a nursing program, or
• Completion of the 5th semester of a four-year nursing program and currently enrolled in a nursing program, or
• Certificate of completion from a U.S. or foreign school of nursing with proof of acceptance for the NCLEX-RN exam (NCLEX must be passed within 6-months of hire).
