Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Nursing Technician to support direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or Provider. You will observe patients, document needs, and communicate observations to the care team, contributing to safe, quality care in a busy unit.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean environment, advocating for patient privacy, and participating in the care planning process. This role is part-time and based at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CRt-BLS certification from AHA or ARC required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Collect and report patients' physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs.
• Provide direct patient care under RN or Provider supervision and document accordingly.
• Explain the nursing technician role to patients and families and support safe care.
• Maintain a clean environment and report equipment malfunctions.
• Demonstrate ethical behavior and protect patient and staff data.
