Job summary

NHSGGC in Inverclyde is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead the Addiction Liaison Outreach Team within the ADRS, driving service development and recovery pathways. The post holder will oversee governance, policies and staff development, while coordinating with hospitals, primary care and community services to enhance care delivery. Fixed term to 31 March 2028, base at Wellpark Centre.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with relevant leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of addiction services, clinical governance, and service improvement.
  • Knowledge of MAT Standards, recovery pathways, professional standards, and relevant legislation.
  • Experience of managing staff, monitoring performance, and working within multidisciplinary teams.

Job description

The Role

Experienced Registered Nurse required for a secondment as Nurse Team Lead within the Inverclyde Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (ADRS). The post holder will lead the Addiction Liaison Outreach Team, support service development, and drive implementation of addiction policies and recovery pathways.

All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern
  • Fixed Term Until 31st March 2028, full-time (36 hours
  • Base location - Wellpark Centre
