Job summary

Henry Ford Health seeks a Clinic/Department Supervisor to provide first-line management and clinical leadership in a busy clinic. The role supervises RNs, MAs, and LPNs, ensuring quality, compassionate patient care while supporting the Nurse Manager and care team.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing, Michigan RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS, with 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience and ambulatory orientation. On-site work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in Michigan.
• Current BLS or ACLS certification.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory Orientation; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervisory support to a team of healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching for patients and families.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager, healthcare team, and medical group leaders to ensure a quality practice setting.
• Participate in planning and budget development for the clinic/department.

Role Overview

As a Clinic/Department Supervisor, you will provide first-line management and clinical leadership to a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs, MAs, and LPNs. What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Two to three (2-3) years of nursing experience in a clinical environment.
• Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory Orientation.Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
