Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship seeks a compassionate Nurse Supervisor, RN to lead daily nursing operations in our Dermatology and Oncology specialty clinics.
This role focuses on supervising staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting physicians in delivering outcomes. The ideal candidate has strong clinical leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to Mercy’s mission of caring for the sick and upholding patient dignity.
Find your calling at Mercy! Supervises and coordinates daily activities of the nursing staff to include responsibility to supervise operations and address nursing practice issues. Directs patient care functions including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation consistent with the established standards of nursing practice. Provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice in support of, and as directed by, the physicians. Assists the physician in the treatment of the patients and completes related clinical paperwork. The incumbent in this position shall carry out his or her responsibilities and integrate into his or her work ethic and style of management the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life and the dignity of each person, applying Christian values to all crucial human issues in the area over which he or she has responsibility. In communicating with patients, families, visitors and employees, a caring, friendly, personal and professional approach is expected. Performs related duties as assigned.
