Job summary

Sierra Valley Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a part‑time role in Porterville, CA. You will supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with the DON/ADON to maintain high‑quality resident care.

The position requires an active CA RN license, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility. PCC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities under the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing.
• Direct nursing department functions and contribute to policy development.
• Ensure staff follow policies and HIPAA/privacy regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; start IVs as needed.
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to physicians and families.
• Participate in staff training, evaluations, and quality initiatives.
