Job summary

Kindred Hospital Riverside is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing staff, assess patient needs, and organize care plans for an extended recovery unit. You will plan training for unit staff, participate in guidance and educational programs, and ensure documentation and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, maintaining records, and collaborating with physicians to deliver comprehensive 24/7 care.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Two years of nursing experience in a hospital.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.

• Participates in developing nursing protocol and procedures.
• Provides continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.

Kindred Hospital Riverside is a 40-bed long-term acute care hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. We partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. For those who need special care, we offer an eight-bed ICU and one negative pressure room. We are located about 20 miles south east of downtown Riverside, in Perris; with easy driving access to a number of restaurants, grocers and shops.

Job Summary

Supervises nursing staff, assesses patients needs and provides nursing care for patients. Plans and organizes training for unit staff members and participates in guidance and educational programs.

Essential Functions

Pay Range: $52.00-$72.00/hr.
