Qualifications

Job description

LPN Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree from an NLN approved program with 2 years nursing experience and one year supervisory experience preferred. OTP nursing experience prefferred.Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, families, employees, and the general public. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to multi-task, display decision-making and critical thinking skills, and basic computer skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Outpatient and secured inpatient MAT/psychiatric health care settings. Fast-paced team approach. Multi-tasking, requiring above average time management skills.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Provides direct supervision for the nursing and behavioral healthcare staff and ensures training compliance. Supervises and/or coordinates direct service delivery per program requirements.
• Completes Gracepoint required documentation in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to program monitoring and quality reports.
• Maintains cooperative relationships with internal and external programs and agencies.
• Attends agency wide, division and program meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops to maintain and enhance essential skills and knowledge.
• Interviews/hires prospective employees and orients them to program.
• May be asked to assume administrative and supervisory duties in the Coordinator of Nurses or Program Manager's absence.
• Performs other duties that are similar, related, or is a logical assignment to the job.
