Job description

The River Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team of Nurse Supervisors. Our part-time Nurse Supervisorswork two 12-hour shifts weekly.

Our Night Shift Supervisors also have a 10% diferential rate added to the base pay shown.

Job purpose

A clinically competent registered, licensed nurse who provides immediate, specialized patient care with a multidisciplinary Provider team. Must possess the basic and advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing care delivered, and the organizational day to day structure of all units within the hospital.

Qualifications

• Valid and current registration, New York StateRN license


• BLS upon hire, ACLS and PALS certification


• Minimum of five years of nursing experience in direct patient care.


• Previous nurse leadership/management experience preferred.

Working conditions and Physical requirements
