Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for our night shift. This leadership role focuses on guiding nursing teams, ensuring safe, compassionate rehabilitation care and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BLS certification; ACLS within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services provided during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and administering performance counseling and discipline.
• Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships with patients for a successful recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
