Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or graduate of an approved RN program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current unrestricted license as RN or LPN in practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities of certified nursing assistants per policies and procedures.
• Ensures policy compliance by nursing personnel.
• Participates in admissions, discharges and transfers of residents.
• Observes residents' status and notifies physician and family as needed.
• Transcribes physician orders and carries out orders as written.
• Prepares and administers medications per physician orders.
• Performs wound care as ordered and documents changes.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and transportation needs.
