Job description

Nurse Supervisor - LPN (Finance)

1. Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.
2. Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as their needs change.
3. Maintain consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts; may assume roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.
4. Supervise community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provide ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manage staff schedules.
5. Oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration; conduct periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
6. Share on-call duties as required.
7. Education requirements include obtaining a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
8. Hold an LPN or LVN license.
