Job summary

Meadowbrook Respiratory and Nursing Center in New Jersey is seeking an experienced nurse to supervise direct nursing care for residents and coordinate the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel.

You will lead their shift, ensure compliance with current rules and policies, complete performance evaluations, provide education, and participate in the center's quality assurance program to maintain the highest standard of resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in New Jersey.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must demonstrate leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Must be able to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret nursing programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel.
• Provide discipline and evaluations of assigned CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel.
• Plan shifts' services, programs, and activities.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and reflects day-to-day nursing procedures.
• Participate in Center surveys or inspections and in the quality assurance program.
