Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate nursing care on a rehabilitation unit. You will supervise staff, ensure policy implementation, and deliver compassionate care aligned with the company’s standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with administration and nursing leadership, with a focus on delivering top-quality patient outcomes and a supportive, team-based work environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS within one year of starting position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Previous leadership role, e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff including on-the-spot feedback, evaluations, and counseling.
• Provide direct patient care as needed and build relationships with patients for a successful recovery.
