Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to provide clinical leadership on a designated unit within our inpatient rehabilitation network. You will oversee nursing care, ensure policy implementation, and support staff to deliver compassionate, individualized patient treatment plans.

The role emphasizes collaboration with administration and nursing leadership, with a focus on quality care, staff development, and patient outcomes during the recovery journey.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS to be obtained within 1 year of starting.
• CRRN to be obtained within 1 year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, conduct evaluations, and manage discipline.
• Provide patient care when needed and build relationships to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
