The Nurse Supervisor will oversee daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and develop personalized care plans while ensuring infection prevention programs are compliant and effective.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Logs, trends, and tracks facility and community acquired infections.
• Chairs the facility Antibiotic Stewardship Program.
• Conducts routine root-cause analysis on hospitalizations and infections.
• Audit staff competencies as it relates to infection control.
• Oversees the daily operations of the nursing department and ensures timely, high-quality care.
• Manages a team of nurses and provides mentorship and support.
• Conducts regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implements changes.
• Collaborates with social services, dining, and activities for comprehensive resident care.
• Develops and implements personalized care plans for each resident.
• Maintains accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Assists with the new Admission process.
• Participates in on-call rotation, providing 24/7 resident support.
