Job summary

Caswell Developmental Center, part of Health & Human Services, seeks a Nurse Supervisor II to oversee nursing services for residents with developmental needs. The role includes staff supervision, training, and ensuring adherence to nursing policies and state regulations.

Salary range listed, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus contingent on budget. Location is Medical/Sunset Village with shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; mandatory reporting during adverse weather may apply.

Qualifications

• RN license in North Carolina (NC) is required.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in a Nurse Supervisor role.
• Thorough knowledge of professional nursing theory and practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RNs and LPNs in the assigned area across shifts.
• Ensure provision of high-quality nursing care and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Perform quality assurance and contribute to budget-related tasks as applicable.
• Mentor and train nursing staff and coordinate with the Director of Nursing.
