Job summary

Mount Carmel Care Center is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN) to lead nursing operations in a 69-bed, faith-based facility in the Berkshires. The role includes unit supervision, staffing coordination, on-call duties, and hands-on nursing care as needed.

Requirements include MA RN or LPN license and BLS certification, plus 1 year of supervision/management experience in long-term care. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current MA RN or LPN license
• 1 year experience in nursing supervision or nursing management in a Long-Term Care setting
• BLS Certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of residents.
• Manage staff on each unit and coordinate staffing assignments.
• Provide hands-on nursing care as needed.
• Ensure incidents are investigated, documented, reviewed and reported correctly.
• Provide support to the facility by working on-call when needed.
• Oversee new admissions when Nursing Managers are unavailable.
• Communicate with providers, resident families and administration.

Come join us at Mount Carmel Care Center! We are a Faith-Based, Non-Profit, boutique-sized Long-Term Care facility (69 beds), nestled in the heart of the Berkshires. Twice voted "Best of the Berkshires," we are sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 2013 and maintain a mission-based environment for our staff and residents.

Mount Carmel Care Center is looking for a motivated and caring Nurse Supervisor - RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse.

• 3pm to 11pm + once/every 5 weeks on‑call.
• $39 to $51 per hour based on license and experience.
• Only Faith-Based Skilled Nursing Facility in the region.
