Qualifications

• Current WV RN license
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire
• Minimum of five years in an acute care setting
• Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the hospital
• Assess patient care requirements by rounds in ED and other units
• Implement staffing plan for shift based on acuity and census
• Serve as a resource to staff for clinical problem solving
• Respond to emergencies (RRT, Code Blue) and assist as needed
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and Utilization Review rules
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct
• Attend staff meetings and participate in performance improvement activities
