Job summary

Encompass Health is looking for a dedicated Nurse Supervisor for full-time night shifts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role involves leading nursing care, supervising staff, and ensuring quality procedures are followed during nighttime operations.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification within one year of hire.
• CRRN certification within one year of meeting eligibility.
• At least two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Prior leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of individualized patient care programs.
• Liaise between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services for assigned shifts.
• Manage staff through feedback, evaluations, counseling, and discipline.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships with patients.
• Celebrate patient progress and milestones.
