Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Current Missouri nursing license in good standing.
  • RN candidates: minimum two years of experience in a physician office or outpatient clinic setting preferred.
  • LPN candidates: minimum three years of experience in a physician office or outpatient clinic setting preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants to foster high-quality patient care and professional growth.
  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients while assisting providers with examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families regarding healthcare needs, treatment plans, and health management strategies.
  • Collect patient histories, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and coordinate retrieval of medical records.
  • Perform laboratory collections, prepare patients for procedures, and complete special clinical procedures as needed.
  • Coordinate departmental workflows to ensure efficient operations and quality patient experiences.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop clinical staff while supporting engagement and retention.
  • Complete employee performance evaluations and supervision records.
  • Lead staff meetings and facilitate open communication throughout the department and organization.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and quality indicators; identify opportunities for quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with providers and leadership to advance patient care initiatives.
  • Support strategic objectives and drive positive change within the department and organization.

Key Responsibilities

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications
  • · Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • · Current Missouri nursing license in good standing
  • · Registered Nurse candidates: Minimum two (2) years of experience in a physician office or outpatient clinic setting preferred
  • · Licensed Practical Nurse candidates: Minimum three (3) years of experience in a physician office or outpatient clinic setting preferred
  • · Current BLS certification required
  • · ACLS certification preferred

Physical Requirements
