Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisorto direct and coordinate the nursing units while ensuring the highest quality of care for residents. The Nurse Supervisorwill oversee daily nursing operations, manage staff, and adapt techniques and procedures as needed to address challenges with initiative and sound judgment.

Nurse Supervisor Requirements:

  • Active Nursing License as required by the state
  • Ability to work every other weekend
  • Compliant with state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to promote and facilitate teamwork among staff
  • High standard of ethics and professional integrity
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines for nursing care facilities
  • Ability to make independent decisions in high-pressure situations

As a Nurse Supervisor, you will:

  • Direct the day-to-day activities of the clinical staff to ensure proper patient care
  • Complete required record-keeping and documentation upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer
  • Prepare and administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to facility medication policies
  • Conduct daily rounds of nursing units and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Verify daily staffing levels and make adjustments as necessary to maintain proper ratios
  • Collaborate with charge nurses regarding resident care, conditions, and overall well-being
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure quick, appropriate actions are taken
  • Perform other duties as directed to enhance patient care and facility operations
