Behavioral Health Group - BHG seeks a committed Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing and laboratory teams, oversee patient assessments, and assist with methadone administration. This role focuses on patient-centered care, with a mission to support recovery and rebuild hope for those battling addiction.

The schedule runs Monday–Friday 4:45AM–1:00PM with rotating Saturday shifts. A Maryland RN license is required, and a competitive salary of $65,000–$75,000 plus quarterly bonus is offered, along with

What You’ll Do

Provide Care

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing and laboratory teams to ensure patients receive safe, timely, and high-quality care.
• Assess patient dosing needs and administer methadone as prescribed, following established clinical protocols.
• Collect urine specimens.
• Partner with physicians, counselors, and community providers to coordinate care and help patients stay on track in their recovery journey.

Maintain Inventory and Documentation

• Maintain accurate patient dosing records and oversee medication inventory to ensure efficient operations.
• Keep medical supplies well stocked and organized so the clinical team has the resources they need.

Team Building

• Mentor, train, and supervise nursing and laboratory staff, helping them grow professionally.
• Create and manage department schedules that support both patient needs and team success.
• Lead internal program reviews and audits to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN/LVN nursing license in the state of employment.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in substance abuse treatment and administration.
• Advanced knowledge of medication-assisted treatment.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

• Fast-paced clinical environment with period of increased activity.
• Exposure to patients with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, infectious diseases, and criminal justice involvement.
• Prolonged standing, bending, and stooping.
• Alternating between sitting and standing throughout the workday.
• Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• Frequent keyboarding and computer use.
