Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Supervisor at Nueces County Jail in Corpus Christi, TX. You will lead the nursing team, oversee clinical operations, and support staff development to ensure high-quality patient care.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will supervise daily activities, manage staffing and performance, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to maintain safety and compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate's Degree is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily nursing operations and supporting the delivery of quality patient care.
• Providing leadership, training, and guidance to nursing staff while ensuring policy compliance.
• Assisting with staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and performance management.
• Supporting quality assurance, infection control, audits, and improvement initiatives.
• Coordinating patient care services and serving as a resource for nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Providing direct patient care and administrative support as needed to ensure operational excellence.

SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 2PM- 10PM

FACILITY: Nueces County Jail

LOCATION: Corpus Christi, TX

Position Summary

What You'll Need

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• Two to three years of clinical experience; supervisory experience preferred
