Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Charge RN for the Northern Regional Jail & Correctional Center in Moundsville, WV. You will oversee nursing operations, support staff development, and ensure high standards of patient care across the facility.

The role requires an RN license, CPR certification, and 2–3 years of clinical experience with supervisory experience preferred. Night shift, 3/12s, with weekend rotation; comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development provided.

Position Summary

Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you'll provide clinical leadership and operational support to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising daily nursing operations and supporting the delivery of quality patient care
• Providing leadership, training, and guidance to nursing staff while promoting compliance with policies and standards
• Assisting with staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and performance management activities
• Supporting quality assurance, infection control, audits, and other performance improvement initiatives
• Coordinating patient care services and serving as a resource for nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
• Providing direct patient care and administrative support as needed to ensure operational excellence

What You’ll Need

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• Two to three years of clinical experience; supervisory experience preferred
