Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time 7a-7:30p, 3 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend.

The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care across medical/surgical/telemetry/critical care units and coordinating with the care team to meet the patient’s plan of care. ACLS, PALS (ECC), CPI, and NIHSS stroke certifications are required or obtained within the hire period.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in South Carolina.
• ADN degree completed.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS, PALS (for ECC), CPI, and NIHSS stroke certification within hire period.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document professional nursing care to medical/surgical/telemetry/critical care patients according to the plan of care.
• Coordinate and delegate care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
• Communicate findings to the appropriate person and maintain required certifications.

Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to medical/surgical/telemetry/critical care patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Nurse is required to maintain ACLS, PALS (for ECC), CPI, and NIHHS stroke certification. Performs any other job related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. ADN degree. BLS certified. Ability to care for medical/surgical/critical care patients. One year of clinical experience required. Have or obtain within one year of hire ACLS, PALS (for ECC), and NIHHS stroke certification. Have CPI or obtain within three months of hire.
