Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution requires 2+ years of experience.
• Preferred: BSN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution or MSN.
• Active Ohio RN License. May be required to obtain other state licensure.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated through TruMerit per Ohio Board of Nursing code.

Responsibilities

• Sustain understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards; monitor safety and departmental policies.
• Sustain understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards; communicate safety concerns to leadership.
• Collect clinical data; follow algorithms, decision trees, and protocols; document care plans and outcomes.
• Follow standards and guidelines; implement clinical changes and evidence-based practices; pursue ongoing learning.
• Collaborate with team using shared decision making; participate in unit-based governance.
• Demonstrate Interprofessional Practice across care teams.
• Advocate for patient and family rights; consider cultural inclusion in care.
• Provide age-specific and culturally inclusive patient care.
