Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Simulation Specialist to lead the development, facilitation, evaluation, and operational delivery of high-quality simulation-based education and skills training across the organization.

This role partners with nursing, physician practices, clinical leaders, and interdisciplinary stakeholders to deliver onboarding, nurse residency, resuscitation certification, and continuing education programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN license.
• Minimum of five years in healthcare education, simulation, or related field.
• Minimum of one year facilitating simulation-based education or adult-learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead simulation-based education and debriefing with psychologically safe methods.
• Develop, validate, and revise simulation curricula and scenarios with interdisciplinary partners.
• Coordinate onboarding, nurse residency, and resuscitation education programs.
• Manage daily simulation operations including scheduling, room allocation, and equipment readiness.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and technology; oversee repairs and vendor support.
• Evaluate quality, outcomes, and utilization with data reporting to leadership.
• Advance accreditation readiness and align with regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with faculty, clinicians, and staff to foster inclusive, high-quality learning.
