Job summary

Journey is seeking a detail-oriented Nurse Scheduler to coordinate nursing schedules and ensure optimal staffing levels at our Georgia healthcare facility.

You will support operational efficiency by maintaining accurate attendance, contacting care team members for open shifts, and coordinating time-off with leadership. CNA certification and scheduling experience are preferred to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling Certified Nursing Assistants, Qualified Medication Assistants, and/or Nurses.
• Must maintain accurate time records and attendance; familiarity with HR/payroll processes is a plus.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred or required for critical staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Develops and posts work schedules in a timely manner per policy to ensure proper staffing.
• Builds relationships with care team members to fill open shifts.
• Maintains current care team contact numbers for call-in.
• Coordinates time-off requests with Nursing leadership and notifies leadership of staffing gaps.
• Manages attendance records and reports to HR/Payroll as needed.
• Supports staffing and operational efficiency across the facility.
