Job summary

UPMC Mercy is seeking graduates of Fall/Winter 2026 to join the Graduate Nurse Rotational Program (GNRP) as full-time Professional Staff Nurses. The 10-month program begins in March 2027, with rotations through 8E Surgical Acute Care, 9E Cardiology/Thoracic Surgical Acute Care, and Rehab units.

Nurses are mentored by experienced staff and preceptors in a supportive environment. Eligible graduates will be placed on the Nursing Career Ladder with salary determined by experience and education.

• Provide highly competent patient care and treatment while demonstrating empathy and a passion for learning.
• Establish relationships with physicians, other care providers, patients, and families to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Set the standards for the level and quality of nursing care and possess authority and accountability for its provision.
