Job summary

UPMC Horizon is hiring Graduate Nurses for a full-time Graduate Nurse Rotational Program starting in Spring/Summer 2027. You will rotate through multiple hospital units, with mentorship from experienced nurses, to gain a broad foundation in patient care and professional development.

Successful candidates will be eligible for State Board Licensure or hold a Temporary Practice Permit with NCLEX prep within 4 months of hire. A structured ladder supports growth and post-program placement.

Qualifications

• GNs must be eligible for State Board Licensure and successfully pass the examination before beginning this role or must have a Temporary Practice Permit and commit to taking the NCLEX within 4 months of hire.
• Diploma, associate, bachelor’s, and direct-entry master’s degree levels all welcome!
• Supportive mentorship provided throughout the rotation across units.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly competent patient care and treatment.
• Demonstrate empathy and a passion for learning.
• Establish relationships with patients, families and care teams to achieve outcomes.
• Work in a rotating 12-hour shift to cover floor needs.
