Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is hiring a Registered Nurse (PT) to join our pediatric ASC team. The role focuses on postoperative and recovery room care for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia, within a close-knit clinical environment.

You will assess, document, and provide nursing care aligned with surgical conditions and anesthesia, while collaborating with dentists and anesthesiologists to address complications.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
• Current ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
• Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.

YOU WILL

• Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications

YOU HAVE

Requirements + Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Previous experience in ICU or perioperative nursing experience
