Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, trading as Blue Cloud, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our pediatric ambulatory surgery center team. You will provide postoperative care in the recovery area, monitor patient status, and collaborate with dentists, anesthesiologists, and other nurses in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include an active RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS; ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
• Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.

YOU WILL

• Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications

YOU HAVE

Requirements + Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Previous experience in ICU or perioperative nursing experience
