Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide exceptional postoperative care in a dedicated team environment. We emphasize quality and safe care for our young patients and strive to maintain a strong team culture.

The ideal candidate has a current nursing license and relevant certifications, enjoys a collaborative atmosphere, and is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care without weekend or holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process including assessment, planning, and implementation.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care in the postoperative period.
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in recovery.
• Monitor patients and inform of complications.

About You

You have an exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, and strong commitment to providing excellent care to our patients. You enjoy working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, and you desire to contribute to a strong culture where the entire team works together for the good of each patient.

YOU WILL

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
• Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications

YOU HAVE

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Previous experience in ICU or perioperative nursing
