NFI North is seeking two part‑time Registered Nurses for our five‑bed Residential Treatment and Day Programs located in Newport, New Hampshire. This program specializes in providing supported housing services to adults transitioning from and/or awaiting admission to Glencliff Home.

The Newport Community Residential Program augments our existing continuum of care in large part due to our continued growth in serving this valuable population in NH. The Agency has a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, nursing, medical, case‑management, vocational, educational and peer support services and life‑skills to adults living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and/or complex medical needs. The participants residing in these treatment facilities are seeking independent, home‑like living.

Responsibilities

• Assist the psychiatrist and medical team with planning and implementing medical and psychiatric nursing care for program participants.
• Provide direct medical and psychiatric nursing care.
• Conduct medical assessments of program participants.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
• Administer medications in accordance with facility protocols.
• Manage the program’s medical supplies.
• Work weekdays in a team environment and maintain on‑call duties.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse license.
• Experience with the program population is preferred.
