Job summary

The Arc of LaGrange County is seeking a full-time Nurse RN in Howe, Indiana to improve daily care for residents with disabilities. The role reports to the COO and requires clinic-style and home-based medical support with on-site training for staff.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional after-hours as needed. Responsibilities include developing procedures, coordinating health plans, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with Medicaid funding and

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide documentation that you are duly accredited/licensed registered nurse.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement routine and emergency procedures to meet the medical and health related needs of residents.
• Serve as a consultant to staff in health-related needs and coordinate individual health care plans.
• Administer medications, including MARs, and provide wellness checks and risk assessments.
• Order supplies and medications, and maintain paperwork and reports monthly.
