• Enrolled in final semester or graduate of an Associate or Bachelor's Nursing Program.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care across body systems including skin, bathing, hygiene and mobility.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative care and postmortem care as needed.
• Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and glucose; assist with catheter placement and isolation precautions.
• Support competency-based procedures and participate in quality measures and evidence-based practices.

Provides personal care for all body systems to include skin care, bathing, oral hygiene, perineal care, and hair care; pre- and post-op care; postmortem care; correct positioning and transfer; assistance with ambulation and exercise; accurate measurement of vital signs, weights and intake/output; usage of restraints; placement of electrodes for cardiac monitoring; use of isolation precautions; administration of enemas; glucose monitoring and quality control checks; insertion of straight and foley catheters; initiation of peripheral IV catheters and any additional competency requirements outlined on competency checklists, Performs high quality care based on hospital and department quality measures (reduction in patient falls, patient experience outcomes, health-care associated infections & conditions, evidenced-based practice protocols)

Education Required:
