We are seeking dedicated nurses to join our team in a FLOAT POOL position. This role offers a 10k sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment.

About the Role: The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. This position requires a strong understanding of obstetric nursing, critical care, and emergency medicine, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. The experienced L&D/LDRP Registered Nurse will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and positive birth experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the health of mothers and newborns during labor.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as IV placement.
• Assist with labor management, providing education and emotional support.
• Assess maternal-fetal well-being using appropriate tests and monitoring tools.
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond to emergencies with critical care skills.
• Educate patients on postpartum, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ICD-10 standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Prior experience in L&D/LDRP required, with at least six months' Medical/Surgical experience preferred.

This role is based in Onycha, Alabama, and requires English language proficiency. The position is full-time, mid-senior level, in the healthcare industry.
