Job summary
AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS, is seeking a Graduate Nurse (RN) to provide and supervise nursing care across age-specific populations and participate in a structured residency program. Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current RN license or eligibility in the applicable state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Participation in nurse residency/orientation programs expected.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to identified patient populations.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care under preceptor.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe care.
- Deliver patient and family education appropriate to understanding.
- Participate in rounds, quality improvement, and residency activities.
