Job summary

AdventHealth in Port Charlotte, FL is hosting 2026 Nurse Residency Cohorts with monthly start dates. This full-time night-shift program supports new graduate RNs in transition to practice within a faith-based health system.

Participants benefit from education assistance, full benefits from day one, and a Clinical Ladder program offering salary increases based on experience and achievement. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Associates of Nursing from an accredited school required (CCNE or ACEN preferred).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Must have less than one year of experience or be graduating in the next year or have graduated within the past three years.
• Current Florida RN license (licensure before deadline) and BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Join 2026 Nurse Residency Cohorts starting monthly.
• Work on assigned units per campus needs (Medical/Surgical, PCUs, Critical Care, ED).
• Adhere to facility policies and participate in the Clinical Ladder program.
