The program supports transition from new graduate to competent RN, with diverse practice areas and strong emphasis on education, mentorship, and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• RN license by state requirements or eligibility must be provided.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred or baccalaureate in nursing within five years of RN start date.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to adapt to variable shifts including days/evenings/nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education across units.
• Engage in Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model activities.
• Provide leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement efforts.
• Handle flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations on the floor.
